MCAT 2018 – Medical schools in the USA, Australia, Canada and the Caribbean Islands use the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) for admission. Candidates interested to pursue a MD degree in the US or Canada are required to take the standardised MCAT 2018. The test aims to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge, understanding of scientific concepts and principles pursuing education in medicine. Accepted by the health professionals and the graduate schools as an important aspect of the selection process, MCAT is conducted by Association of American Medical colleges (AAMC). Candidates aspiring to pursue a career in medicine or related field (health professional) can take the MCAT 2018. The courses which are offered by the health professional institutions and need an MCAT 2018 score for admission are:
Aspirants from countries other than USA and Canada, who have completed or are pursuing their MBBS degrees, are not required to obtain any special permission to register and appear for MCAT 2018.
The degrees offered by the US medical schools are MD degrees. Candidates are, therefore, required to possess an undergraduate degree before they apply to the course. Before they can apply to the medical schools of USA, Aspirants are normally required to have completed the following courses:
Biology – One year
Physics – One year
English – One year
Chemistry (through organic chemistry) – Two years

The registration for MCAT 2018 can only be done online. The process begins by the candidate creating an AAMC account. An AAMC account can be created by appearing the candidates personal details like email, full name and gender. That done, the aspirant may next sign in to the their accounts using the User ID and password. The same login credentials can also be used to maintain the MCAT account for any other correspondence or getting MCAT related information from AAMC. Once the aspirant submits the online registration form, the candidate will receive an email confirmation which will have the complete details of the exam. Aspirants are recommended to do the MCAT 2018 registration at least 60 days before to the chosen exam date.

It is expected that the candidates are proficient in biological concepts, organic and inorganic chemistry, Physics. Aspirants are also required to showcase their critical reasoning ability.

MCAT 2018 is scheduled to be conducted at 18 countries which includes the USA and its territories. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 23 days in 2018 and it has a number of exam centres from which the aspirants can choose the closest or the most convenient one. Almost every country where MCAT 2018 is scheduled has approximately 1–5 MCAT 2018 test centres. The USA and Canada have more than 30 MCAT test centres 2018 each. Aspirants can check the most convenient MCAT 2018 test centre before they register for MCAT. The test centres can be searched state wise (US only) or according to the country from a drop-down list.
MCAT 2018 scores will be scored for the four sections separately. AAMC will also declare the aggregate of all the four sections. The MCAT 2018 scores will be declared 30–35 days post the date of the exam is over. Aspirants will get a total of 5 MCAT 2018 scores. The five scores are; one scores of each section and a total score. MCAT 2018 scores will range between 472 and 528. The midpoint of the scores are 500.

MCAT is for Candidates who want to pursue Medicine in the United States, Canada, Carribean islands and Australia. If you are from India, you need to complete your 12th with Physucs, Chemistry, Biology and English as your core subjects and then appear for NEET. Because qualifying in NEET is mandatory even for students who want to study MBBS abroad. Once you qualify in NEET, you can appear for MCAT and then start the process for applying to study Medicine in any of these Countries.
Well I would like to inform you that USA does not have MBBS program for medical education. They have MD program in which admission is possible only after completing undergraduate studies with pre medicine track. So you need to first complete your bachelor's and that too with pre medicine track and then apply for MD program by giving the MCAT exam.

Yes, you need to appear for both the exams i.e., GRE and MCAT and score a minimum of 75% in GRE and 27 in MCAT in order to be eligible to do M.Sc Oncology from Canada.
