LSAT Abroad Eligibility Criteria 2024 - The LSAC (Law School Admission Council) does not specify any particular eligibility criteria for LSAT Abroad 2024 for candidates who wish to write the exam. The LSAT abroad eligibility criteria are dependent on the particular law school to which the candidate wishes to apply. The eligibility criteria will include the following details - the qualifying exam, the number of times a candidate can appear for the LSAT Abroad exam, and the minimum educational qualifications for admission to a law course.
However, the LSAC has given some basic eligibility conditions that candidates must meet in order to take the LSAT exam. This is the age criteria- candidates above 18 years old can take the LSAT Abroad exam. The minimum qualification required to appear in the LSAT abroad exam is that the student must have passed the requisite exam based on whether he is applying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in law.
The LSAT exam is conducted four times a year, in February, June, September or October and December. The LSAT is a half-day test that is standardized and is conducted at specific test centres around the world. Every participating law school will have a different set of abroad LSAT eligibility criteria. So you must check with the individual institutes on their latest eligibility requirements.
According to the eligibility criteria of LSAT abroad, some degrees are not recognized by the LSAC. So check the list of recognized degrees before you apply.
Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria of the individual law colleges you are applying for before you sit for the LSAT abroad exam.
The LSAT exam is required only to study law abroad. To study law courses in India, you will need to take the LSAT India exam and meet the LSAT eligibility criteria required in India.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts, as per the LSAT Abroad eligibility criteria. You can take the LSAT exam as many times as you want.
According to the LSAT abroad eligibility criteria, those who have worked as a staff member (test supervisor or testing staff) at an LSAT test centre within the last 24 months are not eligible to appear in LSAT 2024.
On attempting the LSAT abroad exam various law degrees can be applied abroad. The available list of degrees in respective countries are mentioned below.

LSAT exams for Abroad and India are different. Right from the LSAT abroad exam pattern to scores, fees, all are varied. Here are some comparison factors between LSAT Abroad and LSAT India.

However when it comes to the eligibility criteria for the LSAT India and LSAT Abroad exams, there are similarities:
Candidates applying for a five-year integrated law degree course must have passed their class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board. They can then take the LSAT Abroad or the LSAT India exam based on where they are applying.
Candidates applying for a three-year LLB course should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and must qualify for LSAT Abroad or LSAT India before they apply for admission to a university.

In order to write the LSAT Abroad exam in 2024, you must fill in your particulars in the form released by LSAC. This form can be filled out either online or sent by mail or by phone. In order to fill out the LSAT application form online, you have to first create an account and fill in all the essential information. You will then have to select the exam centre and test date. Even though there are no specific eligibility criteria for the LSAT Abroad exam, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements of the course level they are applying for. They must also check if they meet the eligibility criteria of the college to which they are seeking admission.
Since the LSAT is offered seven times in a year, you must make sure that the LSAT scores are available before the deadline of your first law school application. Before this, ensure that you check the eligibility requirements of each law school you are applying for.
Remember that most law schools take students on a rolling basis, so it is better that you submit a complete application as soon as possible.
One can write the LSAT exam as many times as one wishes to as there are no limits on the number of attempts.
There are four main sections in the LSAT exam::

The LSAT has a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The test has between 99 to 102 multiple-choice questions. The test gives enough time to candidates to complete all the questions in the time allotted.
Candidates are given a score on a scale of 120 to 180 points. The top law schools take the average score of the candidate based on his multiple LSAT scores. To increase your chances of admission, it is better that you take the test only once after thorough preparation.
There is no provision to give LSAT USA in India and these exams cannot be interchanged. The two exams are conducted by LSAC differently and colleges abroad will not accept LSAT India scores as they accept the LSAT abroad scores for the law programmes.
If your aim is to get enrolled in an abroad law college, you must take the LSAT abroad. Law colleges abroad accept LSAT abroad scores and law colleges in India accept LSAT India scores. There should be no confusion in your mind in this regard.

Law school admission council has released the result on 1st of February in the official website . Candidates can check their result by logging into their website. The website is discover.law.in.
The first attempt is over and now is the turn for second attempt and the registration for it will close by 25th May ,2022. The scheduling of test will be from 25th april to 30th April. The exam will start from 9th of may.
