Amount of Holland Scholarship for International Students

The Holland scholarship for international students who want to study in Netherlands amounts to a total scholarship value of 5,000 which will be made available to successful applicants in the first year of their education in Netherlands. The Holland scholarship is not a full tuition scholarship.

 

Eligibility Conditions for Holland Scholarship

In order to be eligible for the Holland scholarship for international students, candidates must satisfy certain eligibility prerequisites. This includes:

  • The candidate must be of non-EEA nationality.

  • The candidate must be applying for a full time masters or bachelors degree program at a university in Netherlands.

  • The candidate must satisfy the eligibility conditions for the specific program and university of education in Netherlands.

  • The candidate must not have a prior degree of education in Netherlands.

Validity of Holland Scholarship

The Holland scholarship for international students is granted for a 1 year duration. Once a candidate has been granted a Holland scholarship, he or she may not reapply for the scholarship.

The Holland scholarship for international students is offered for prospective students of certain participating research universities and universities of applied sciences for education in Netherlands.

Application Process for Holland Scholarship

Candidates can apply for the Holland scholarship for international students through their preferred Dutch institution for education in Netherlands if they satisfy the individual university admission/selection criteria.

Candidates can apply for the Holland scholarship only if their preferred university is one of the participating universities listed on the scholarship website. The application instructions and deadlines can be found on the university of preference.

 

Deadline for Holland Scholarship 2019

Candidates can apply for the Holland scholarship for international students for the 2018-2019 academic year. The deadline for the scholarship applications for this academic year will be either February 1, 2019 or March 1, 2019. Candidates can confirm the deadlines from their prospective university of study in Netherlands.
